Replica sash windows for the restoration of Dun Laoghaire Baths
Replica sash windows that are identical to the originals
Did you know we were part of the restoration of Dun Laoghaire Baths?
Due to the historic nature and the importance of, and love for this building in the area, the architect wanted to ensure that it retained as much of its original charm as possible, and for the windows and doors to be exact replicas of the original ones. This meant that they wanted the sash windows and period doors that were to be installed to be made with the skill and detail of the original period sash windows that were there in the past.
So we were absolutely delighted when we won the tender! Unfortunately due to the building being derelict for so many years, the original windows couldn’t be salvaged, so we made and installed new, bespoke, double-glazed, sash windows using Pilkington glass, the main entrance door, as well as the fansash.
We think the Baths looks great, especially with their Bolger sash windows and door!
